Scenarios

A number of scenarios have been created, both as learning tools for new players and just for fun. They are presented here to allow others to use them.

The scenarios are organized into two groups.

	Introductory Scenarios. These scenarios (below on this page) were created to introduce players in the Far Reaches Campaign to tactical Starfire combat.
	Fleet Combat Simulator. This group of scenarios provide a set of battles covering a number of Technology Levels.

Each scenario includes background information, ship design layouts, and, in some cases, descriptions of the game as played. This is presented on-line, and all of the material, including files with ready-to-use ship design layouts are available for downloading. The download files are zipped, and contain Word 6.0 (.doc), Excel 5.0 (.xls), and possibly graphics (.jpg or .gif) files.

Readers are free to submit additional scenarios.

These are stand-alone scenarios created to help the players and the Space Master in the Far Reaches Campaign learn the tactical combat system.

Terran Federation Navy Verses Khanate of Orion Space Arm Navy
This is "Scenario 3" of the Starfire Scenarios in Starfire, 3rd Edition Revised (page 92). The download included here contains the ship design layouts for the ships in the scenario. For the rest of the scenario details refer to the Starfire 3rd Edition Revised rule book (page 92).
