Campaign Forms And Documentation

The Far Reaches Campaign has a number of forms and documents associated with it. All may be downloaded, and the text documents may be viewed on-line. Updates to this page will be noted on the Campaign News page.

Modifications, Clarifications, And Additions

The Rules Modifications, Clarifications, And Additions to Starfire and Imperial Starfire for the Far Reaches Campaign (or simply the "MCA") contains local rules and requirements for the campaign. All of the players, and the SM (Ken!) need to be as familiar with this document as they are with the rules. The MCA will be updated regularly throughout the campaign. This is a zipped Word 6.0 file.

Official Tech Systems

This is a list of all the Tech Systems permitted in the campaign. At present this list only goes up to Tech Level 9. Ken has promised to update this through Tech Level 11 eventually. This is a zipped Excel 5.0 file.

NPR Ships & Systems Policies

The NPR Ships & Systems Policies document is one of the two methods for determining how NPRs act. This document deals primarily with how NPRs build and operate their warships. In order to properly control an NPR a player should be familiar with the conditions described in the document. This is a zipped Word 6.0 file.

The FAQ answers questions which are not quite important enough to be put into the MCA. This is only available on-line.

Log File

The Log File is used by players to communicate their orders and information to the Space Master. Each turn a player will be required to submit a Log File for each race under the player's control. A sample file is available to provide suggestions on how to word various orders. Players should carefully check the instructions regarding the formatting of the Log File name when submitted to the SM. Expect the format of this file to be updated throughout the campaign. The Log File, Blank and Log File, Sample are zipped Excel 5.0 workbook files. The Log File, Instructions is a zipped Word 6.0 file.

Turn Information File

The Turn Information File is used by the Space Master to communicate the information about a race to the player. A player will receive one Turn Information File for each race under the player's control. The Turn Information is created by the Space Master, and players will have no control over its contents. It is provided here as general information. This is a zipped Excel 5.0 workbook file.
